The set layers a sheer purple organza kurta, covered entirely in dense silver zari scrollwork embroidery — swirling vines, blooming flowers and leaves climbing across the whole surface like a garden that never stops growing — over a matching Bamberg silk inner that gives the embroidery its depth and richness. The sides of the kurta have a dramatic lace-up knotted closure running all the way down, ending in little colourful pompom beads that bounce at the hem — serious craft on the outside, pure playfulness at the bottom. The neckband has a delicate pintuck detail and closes at the back with a pearl button. Paired with a deep purple Bamberg silk lehenga — full, fluid, and the perfect base for the kurta to shine.
